Training Through Rehab: Working Around an Injury

Most people quit the gym after an injury because nobody showed them what they can still do. Almost always, plenty.

A tweaked shoulder still leaves you legs, core and unilateral work. A bad knee still leaves you upper body and hip-dominant patterns that do not load the joint.

How we handle it

  • We ask what movements are painful, not just what is diagnosed
  • The programme keeps every pattern that is pain-free
  • Load returns gradually as range and control come back

If you are carrying an injury, speak to a coach before your first session so the plan is right from day one.
